CMI, the Swiss Business Management Software, offers a cloud-based process interface to the Microsoft 365-based officeatwork template management in the cloud.
This enables businesses and public administrations to seamlessly integrate their business processes with document creation. The interface consists of integrating the officeatwork Template Chooser along with XML Part-based data integration.
The example shown here utilizes the CMI Web Client for creating a "welcome letter" for a new resident of the fictional municipality of Schwerzenwil. The CMI Web Client includes the "officeatwork Template Chooser Embedded," which allows users to directly access templates stored in officeatwork within the CMI Web Client. Additionally, the CMI data is inserted into the newly created document in a way that allows the officeatwork Wizard to display and further process the data.
This integration combines the benefits of business management with template management, simplifying the creation of personalized documents based on business cases.
